Mrs. Mary Zelma Croft, 95, of Canton passed away Monday, February 18, 2013 at Northside Cherokee Hospital. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Carmel Baptist Church with Rev. Richie Gibbs, Rev. Truman Pyles and Rev. Kent Samples officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday after 12 pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Croft was the oldest member of Carmel Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Croft; son, Thomas Croft and granddaughter, Debra Cantrell. Survivors include her daughters, Geneva (Darrell) Cantrell of Blairsville and Virginia (Jack) Alfone of Canton; 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren.
