SATURDAY

Northside Hospital-Cherokee will present the 24th Annual Easter Eggstravaganza is from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday on the grounds of the hospital at 201 Hospital Road, Canton. The free event includes egg hunts, a petting zoo, moon walk, carnival games, face painters, arts and crafts and refreshments. Photos will the Easter bunny and souvenir T-shirts are $5 each. All proceeds benefit the hospital's Special Care Nursery. In case of rain, the event will be held at the G. Cecil Pruett Community Center Family YMCA, 151 Waleska St., Canton. In case of severe weather, the event will be canceled. Children should bring their own Easter basket. (770) 720-5474.

The Holly Springs Ninth Annual Easter Egg Hunt is at 11 a.m. Saturday at Barrett Memorial Park on Park Lane. There will be more than 12,000 eggs with hunts by age groups. The grand prize egg will include a $100 gift certificate to Toys "R" Us. Activities include a petting zoo from 10 a.m. to noon and photos with the Easter Bunny. Admission is free. City on a Hill United Methodist Church will present free Easter egg hunts at 10:30 a.m. and noon on Saturday, March 27, behind the Cherokee County Recreation Center, 7545 Main St., Woodstock. (404) 862-7850; www.cityonahillumc.org.

PALM SUNDAY, MARCH 28

Canton First United Methodist Church will present a free Easter egg hunt after the 11 a.m. service on Palm Sunday, March 28. There also will be a children's choir concert and barbecue lunch. The church is at 930 Lower Scott Mill Road. (770) 479-2502.

GOOD FRIDAY, APRIL 2

The Pointe Church will be hosting their annual Easter Egg Hunt, with 10,000 eggs at Hasty Elementary at 7 p.m. with age groups divided appropriately. HOLY SATURDAY, APRIL 3

Trinity Presbyterian Church in the Free Home community will sponsor a free Resurrection (Easter) Egg Hunt at 11:00 to 12:30 on Saturday, April 3. There will be games, story telling, baking of Resurrection rolls as well as the Egg Hunt which will be separated into hunts for younger and older children. All children are invited. The church is located at 1136 Trinity Church Road between Free Home Rd. (Hwy.372) and Arbor Hill Road in the Free Home Community.

Little River United Methodist Church will present a free Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 3. The church is at 12455 Highway 92, Woodstock. (770) 926-2495.

Sixes United Methodist Church will present a free Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 3. There also will be Easter crafts and other children's activities. The church is at 8385 Bells Ferry Road, Canton. (770) 345-7644.

Woodstock Christian Church will present a free Easter egg hunt at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 3, rain or shine. The church is at 7700 Highway 92. (770) 926-8238; wcc@woodstockchristian.org.

Ball Ground United Methodist Church will have an Easter Egg Hunt at 2 p.m. There will also be games and crafts.

EASTER, APRIL 4

Heritage Baptist Fellowship: Free Easter egg hunt at 9:45 a.m. Easter morning during Sunday School. The church is located at 3615 Reinhardt College Parkway, Waleska. (770) 479-9415.

the 62nd Annual Easter Parade is at 4 p.m. on Easter Sunday, April 4, from Cherokee High School at 930 Marietta Highway to Hickory Log Baptist Church at 179 Belletta Dr. Canton. The parade ends with a free community Easter egg hunt at the church. (770) 479-3347.
