The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help locating and identifying two suspects who allegedly stole from cars last Sunday morning in Woodstock.

Lt. Jay Baker, spokesman for the Sheriff’s Office, said Friday afternoon that a home surveillance camera in the Towne Lake Hills West subdivision recorded the suspects stealing from cars in the neighborhood.

“The video shows one suspect on lookout while the other one checks to see if the vehicle is unlocked,” Baker said.

In total, seven thefts from cars occurred in the neighborhood on the morning of the incident, Baker said.

Baker said the suspects made off with a laptop, money, a knife and other items.

Detectives believe they may live in the area of the thefts, Baker said.

Anyone with information is asked to call investigators at (770) 928-0239.
