Mrs. Elizabeth Holbert Forrester, 81, of Canton passed away on Monday, June 25, 2012 at Kennestone Hospital. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Pastor Ken May officiating. Interment will follow in the Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery in Jasper. The family will receive friends on Thursday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the funeral hour. She is preceded in death by her parents, John Garland Holbert and Lemma Hammontree Holbert. Survivors include her husband, Teddy Forrester; children, Bob (Nancy) Davis, Kathy (Darrell) Stephens, Becky DeGraff, George (Susan) Davis and Gus Welborn; sister, Mary Brenda Pendley; brothers-in-law, Jerry (Bobbie) Forrester and Anthony Forrester; 15 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
