Mr. Pars Gravley , 89, of Woodstock, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Kennestone Hospital. Funeral services are scheduled for 3 pm Sunday, January 13, 2013 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Elder James Heard and Rev. Bryan Lindner officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Gilead United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends all day Saturday and Sunday until the funeral hour. Mr. Gravley served in the U.S. Army. He was a World War II Veteran and a retired mechanic. Survivors include his children, James Heard of Free Home, Juanita Cochran of Cumming, Opal Dean of Woodstock and Ed Gravley of Woodstock; siblings, John Gravley of Mississippi, Betty Kirkpatrick of Commerce, George Bunch and Jim Bunch both of Marietta; 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
