Police are trying to determine the identity and motive of two suspects who reportedly shot two men at an Acworth trailer park Friday night.

Cherokee Sheriff’s deputies responded to the Shadowood Mobile Home Park off Bells Ferry Road just before midnight Friday, where two men had been shot, said Lt. Jay Baker, spokesman for the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office.

The victims were sent to WellStar Kennestone Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Baker said.

The two men were reportedly shot at the front door of a mobile on Lot 71 of the mobile home park, Baker said Tuesday.

“There were reportedly two suspects,” Baker said. “Their motive is unknown at this time.”

As of yet, Baker said, detectives do not have a solid description of the suspects to release.

Baker said details on the victims is also being withheld as “investigators are still piecing together the events of that night.”

Representatives with the mobile home park declined to comment Tuesday.
