Mr. George “Carroll” Neese, Sr. of Dallas, GA. formerly of Woodstock passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2013 after a brief illness. He was 72. Funeral services will be held 11 A. M. Saturday February 9, 2013 at Woodstock Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. J. Marcus Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in the Little River United Methodist Church Cemetery with Woodstock Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held from 4-8 P.M., Friday, February 8, 2013 at the funeral home. Mr. Neese was born June 7, 1940 in Woodstock, GA to the late George Leonard and Effie Delight Gramlin Neese. Mr. Neese was retired from Tyco International as a machine operator. Mr. Neese was also preceded in death by his wife, Dianne Duvall Neese. Survivors include three daughters, Tracey Merritt (David), Temple, GA., Shannon M. Rollins (Scott), Rockmart, GA., and Cynthia Robinson (Randy), Hiram, GA; two sons, George C. Neese, Jr. (Robin), Blue Ridge, GA., Craig E. Neese (Susan), Ball Ground, GA; two sisters, Opal Queen, Woodstock, GA., Katherine Corlew, Nashville, TN; eight grandchildren, Tiffany Greer, Ashley Wooten, Caleb Merritt, Katey Merritt, Leah Rollins, Bailey Neese, Lillian Rollins, and Alec Neese; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
