A Woodstock newlywed was killed and her husband injured in an Easter Sunday three-car crash in Atlanta.

Danielle Holley, 21, died at the scene of the crash at 6 p.m. on Interstate 285 near Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.

Her husband, whose name was not released, was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta with non-life threatening facial injuries.

The Nissan Sentra Ms. Holley was driving was truck by a tractor-trailer being driven south by Jack Parsons, 51.

He is accused of improperly changing lanes, which caused the crash, according to the Atlanta Police Department. After being struck, Ms. Holley's Nissan left the road and hit a guardrail. She made it back onto the road, but was hit by another tractor-trailer and then flipped onto its side.

Parsons also was charged with second-degree vehicular homicide. He was taken by police to the Fulton County Jail.

Neither Parsons nor the other truck driver were injured.

All southbound lanes of I-285 were closed in the area for about two hours following the crash.

that saddens me . . . I hurt for this girl's family and husband. I'm sorry, but that tractor-trailer driver should be punished to the full extent allowed. Those vehicles are like a weapon on the roadways.
