Imagine that somewhere there is a cadre of conspirators sitting around smirking, high-fiving one another and saying, “It’s working. It’s working just like we planned it. Obamacare is doing exactly what it was designed to do.”

For there to be such a plan it would have had to have a root. Saul David Alinsky of Chicago, generally considered to be the founder of modern community organizing, was a hero of Barack Obama. Some of his “Rules for Radicals” are at the root of what is happening. William F. Buckley said of Alinsky, “He is very close to being an organizational genius.”

Wayne Allyn Root, a former CNBC anchorman and commentator for FoxNews.com, suggests President Obama knows exactly what he is doing it. Root suggests the following intended ends. They may not be the intended ends, but it appears they might well be the consequences.

First, it is intended to be part of a plan for the redistribution of wealth. Not only will the wealthy, the middle class, and the young have to pay higher premiums for their insurance, they will have to help pay the premiums for 40 million other non-payers.

It is intended to make the middle class dependent upon government. The IRS estimates that by 2016, the average American family will pay $20,000 annually for health insurance. The average American family cannot do that, so they will become more dependent on government.

It is intended to reduce the number of good-paying full-time jobs while creating low-paying part-time ones.

It is intended to drive small businesses out of existence. This is already happening. Studies show that as a body they are the largest contributors to conservative causes.

It is intended to ultimately unionize 15 million health care workers who will provide $15 billion in union dues. Much of this money would be used to elect proponents of this type of government.

With a reduction of those giving to conservative causes and an increase in the number supportive of “progressive” causes the balance of power becomes imbalanced.

It is intended to make the IRS dramatically more powerful. They are to employ thousands more agents and oversee 15 percent of the nation’s economy. The information being gathered from persons registering for Affordable Care will be monitored by the IRS.

Some ask what the proponents of Obamacare are doing. How stupid can they be? Stupid is not the word. Buckley may have used the better word, “genius.” If these are the intended ends of the act, it is working. We are not there yet, but we are well on the way.

How best to disguise the fact it is working but to say the program isn’t working. That was one of Alinsky’s rules. Get the focus off the real objective by focusing on the flaws of the means rather than the end. The focus is on the fact the computer program isn’t working. Little is being said about where this is taking the nation.

People and nations reach a tipping point, a point of no return. Hopefully America is not there yet. The elections of 2014 could well be the tipping point.

There is a spiritual component to all things and there is to this. People with a biblical world view need to get involved in supporting proponents of Constitutional government. They need to be more vocal in spite of being criticized and even more importantly, they need to pray.

Hmmm. I'm guessing that your comments, Price, will be sent to the IRS for review.
