Mrs. Barbara June Smith, 80, of Canton passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Tranquility Hospice at Kennesaw Mountain. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm on Friday, February 22, 2013 at Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Horace Richards officiating. Interment will follow in Cherokee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends all day on Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Smith was a member of Ophir Baptist Church and retired from Canton Textile Mill. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Willie Smith, Jr. of Canton; children, Glenda Jean Cole, Joe (Judy) Cole, Jr., Ronnie (Debra Reece) Smith all of Canton; aunt, Nola Woody of Morganton, GA; grandchildren, Jason Cole and Bradley Cole; extended family, Darron, Tonia, Kayla, Hannah, and Ashton Chastain.
