Loyce Smith, age 89 of Canton passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. A Funeral service to honor the life of Ms. Smith will be held Friday, November 30, 2012 at 2:30Pm in the Chapel Of Darby Funeral Home with Rev. Gerral Richards, Rev. Clint Smith, and Rev. Matt Lathem officiating. Interment will be in the Orange Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until the funeral hour. Survivors are sons, Ronnie (Lisa) Smith of Canton, Randy Smith of Canton; daughter, Anita (Thomas) Lathem of Canton; sister-in-law, Vicki Smith of Canton. Also surviving are grandchildren, Clint (Michell) Smith, Matt (Amy) Lathem, Celena (Brandon) Grantham, Natalie Smith, Zachary (Katie) Smith.
