McGavock (Buddy) Tidwell, age 75, passed away July 19, 2012 at his home in Acworth, GA. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Bonnie Tidwell, daughters Leeann Logue and husband Stan, Tracey Smith and husband Evan, Margie Seaman and husband Robert, sons, Neal Tidwell and wife Kathy, General Tony Tidwell and Joseph Spurlock, brother, Arnold Tidwell and wife Kit, 12 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 22, 2012 at 1:30 pm in the Woodstock Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 am until 1:30 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
