The Woodstock Police Department needs help in identifying a woman officers believe broke into several vehicles and stole numerous items.

Investigators released video surveillance Tuesday of a female using a stolen credit card taken from a vehicle and are hoping the public’s help in identifying her will lead to solving several entering auto cases.

The woman is suspected of breaking into six vehicles in the Deer Run Neighborhood, located off of Buckhead Crossing in Woodstock during the overnight hours of Oct. 14 and Oct. 15, police say.

Items stolen from the vehicles included electronics, debit cards, credit cards, and cash, according to Brittany Duncan, spokesperson for the police department.

“Following up on leads, investigators obtained video surveillance from the nearby CVS Pharmacy,” Duncan said in a release. “The footage shows a female using one of the stolen credit cards at approximately 3:50 a.m. on Oct. 15. Investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying the female.”

All of the vehicles entered were left unlocked while parked in a driveway or open garage, Duncan said.

The Woodstock Police Department urged all residents to lock their car doors and secure their valuables.
