ATLANTA (AP) _ Atlanta police say a bridge collapsed and one person was trapped in a vehicle in northwest Atlanta.

Police spokesman Carlos Campos says the bridge at Marietta Road and Bolton Road collapsed Tuesday morning.

The bridge is a railroad trestle over Bolton Road. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports the bridge collapsed on top of a commercial truck, and emergency crews were working to free a person in the truck.

Police confirm they’re handling traffic control at the scene.
