ATLANTA (AP) _ Atlanta police say they’re continuing to search for a suspect after one of their officers was targeted by a gunman, and that no arrests have been made in the case.

An earlier report Friday indicated that a “person of interest” had been apprehended, but police later sent out a statement saying that arrest was unrelated to the shooting.

Police believe the officer was targeted by a shooter firing from a nearby rooftop in the city’s Little Five Points neighborhood Thursday night.
