The one thing I hear from everyone is that we support the troops even if we don't support the war(s).

Okay, here is a way to prove it.

If you are like me, when you see a soldier or sailor and you say "thank you for your service," it just sounds lame and trite, like something you'd hearing the floor of Congress.

Well, here is something we can do that actually means something and will help...a lot!

Go to veteransairliftcommand.org. Make a donation of time, aircraft or money.

It feels so much better than just talking about supporting he troops when we can actually support the troops.

The VAC is a top shelf organization, as are all the people involved. A few months ago, I had the privilege to spend most of a Saturday with the "Air Boss" Walt Frieke. He is a gentleman of the highest degree. This VAC was his idea after spending time in an Army hospital (see his story). I am also a volunteer owner/pilot and a veteran (Army UH-1). The small sacrifice we make for our wounded warriors cannot compare with the sacrifices they have made for our freedom. Please help in any way you can. Keep the faith, and God Bless our troops...Thank You all.
