Mrs. Vera Diane King, of Woodstock, GA, died Saturday, May 19, 2012 in Daytona Beach Shores, FL, after an auto accident. She was 67. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday May 23, 2012 at Woodstock Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bruce Springer officiating. Visitation will be held from Noon until 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. King was born August 5, 1944 in Rome, GA to late Charles Mae and the Vera Virginia Sparks Hopgood. Diane worked at Home Depot for 18 years as a Staff Accountant over Cash Accounting. She loved to square dance, read, and her favorite activity was lying on the beach. Diane loved her “fur child”, Toby and her grandchildren deeply. Diane married Stephen King in 1990. She is survived by her husband Stephen King, Woodstock, GA; her mother, Virginia Hopgood; four combined children, Paul Masters (Jennifer), Stephen Masters, and Kevin King (Tracie), Kelli Popp (Peter); eleven combined grandchildren, Elizabeth Frederick, Tyler King, Ashley Frederick, Hank Masters, Noah Popp, Ben Masters, Seth Masters, Alex King, Brady King, and Abby King.
