Dewayne L. Holbert, 60, of Talking Rock passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Kennestone Hospital. A Life Celebration will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Gayton officiating. A Reception will be held following the service for family and friends. Mr. Holbert was cremated. Survivors include his wife, Cheri Holbert of Talking Rock; mother, Elsie Holbert of Canton; children, Michael Holbert of California, Tony Holbert of Odum, GA, Lani Mason of Canton; siblings, Linda Tinsley of Jasper, Wanda Cornett of Jasper, Barbara Holbert of Ellijay, Darrell Holbert of Canton and Kenneth Holbert of Canton; 5 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
