Gertrude Taylor Finnegan, 95, of Woodstock, GA died peacefully at home on June 5, 2012. She was born in Alabama, grew up in Mississippi, and lived in Hattiesburg, MS until 1974 when she and her husband moved to Rutledge, GA, to live near family. She was predeceased by her husband, Roy Andrew Finnegan, an infant son, R. Andrew Finnegan; her son-in-law, H. Neil Jackson; her parents, Anna and Grover Taylor; and twelve siblings. She is survived by her daughters, Joanna Jackson and Teresa Finnegan; her granddaughter, Shanna Coulter, husband Christopher Coulter; and five great-grandchildren, Emma, Julianna, Melanie, Jackson and Andrew Coulter, all of Woodstock, Georgia. She is also survived by sisters-in-law, Barbara Taylor of Athens, GA, and Sarah Taylor of Monroe, LA, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. Her visitation will be at Woodstock Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. TODAY, June 7, 2012, rosary at 7:30 p.m. Her Funeral Mass will be at Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Woodstock, GA on Friday, June 8, 2012. Her burial will be in Rutledge, GA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to her favorite charity, the Saint Vincent de Paul Food Pantry at Saint Michael the Archangel, 490 Arnold Mill Road, Woodstock, GA 30188.
