Larry W. Hunt, 60 of Canton died on Thursday, June 14, 2012. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 22, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marietta with Rev. John Walsh officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Church Resurrection Garden. Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Patty Hunt of Canton; daughter, Sarah Maness & her husband, Lee of Dallas; four sons, Jeffrey Hunt & his wife, Karyn of Dallas; Matthew Hunt & his wife, Elmira of Canton; Adam Hunt & his wife, Sandra of Marietta; Wesley Hunt of Canton; six grandchildren; five sisters; three brothers; several nieces and nephews. Larry was the youngest of 12 siblings. Larry was the founder of Hunt’s Stucco, Inc. which he operated since 1985. Larry’s wish was to see his youngest child graduate from college, and in that spirit, the family has asked that donations in lieu of flowers to be made to: Hunt Edu Fund (Patricia Hunt), c/o Wells Fargo Bank, 2025 Town Lake Parkway, Woodstock, GA 30189. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday at Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home & Crematory in Marietta.
