Mrs. Phyllis Sanford, 72, of Waleska passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Tranquility Hospice of Kennesaw Mountain. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 22, 2012 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in the Little Refuge Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends all day on Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Sanford was a member of Little Refuge Baptist Church and was a People Greeter at Wal-mart. Survivors include her children, Tim (Amanda) Westbrook of Canton and Fred (Mindy) Medlin of Waleska; brother, Bill Lee of Jasper; grandchildren, Taylor, Ethan and Duncan Westbrook and Bryson and Cierra Medlin.
