Mr. Jerry Lord, 68, of Canton passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2012 at Kindred Hospital in Rome, GA. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00pm on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Pastor Ken May officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the funeral home. Mr. Lord will be cremated following the service. Survivors include his spouse, Janice Lord of Soperton; children, David Lord of Canton, Delton (Jamie) Lord of Soperton, and Brian (Lorri) Lord of Canton; brothers, Gene Lord of Ocala, FL, Quinton Lord of Cumming, Edward Lord of Woodstock, Harold Lord of Holly Springs and Morris Lord of Woodstock; grandchildren, Nicole Lord, Johnathan Lord, Jessica Martinez, Jazmyne Lord, and Jordan Lord; great-grandchild, Garrett Lord; and a host of nieces and nephews.
