Mr. Robert Lee Crowe, 80, of Ball Ground, passed away after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s on Friday, August 10, 2012. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 am Monday, August 13, 2012 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Elder Edward Cagle and Rev. Mike Mize officiating. Interment will follow in Cherokee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 pm until 6 pm at the funeral home. Robert was a retired machinist with Georgia Tech Research Institute and served in the U. S. Army. He was a member of Crossroads Primitive Baptist Church, the Canton Moose Lodge and the Alpharetta American Legion Post 201. Survivors include his wife, Norma Jeanne Bailey Crowe; children, Robert Crowe, Jr., Sean Crowe and Kimberly Crowe; sister, Geraldine Clark; 3 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
