The 16th annual Junior Service League of Woodstock Tour of Homes is Saturday and Sunday.
This year’s tour will feature four homes decorated for the holidays including a 12,000-square-foot home in the BridgeMill community, a home in downtown Woodstock and two homes in Towne Lake.
The 2012 tour benefits charities including CASA for Children Inc., Timothy’s Cupboard, Georgia Canines for Independence and Bethesda Community Clinic.
Last year 1,500 people participated in the tour and helped raise $17,000 for charities in the community, including MUST Ministries, BEATS, Georgia Canines for Independence, Meals on Wheels, Goshen Valley Boys Ranch, CASA, Hillside Christmas Angels, Never Alone and Papa’s Pantry.
The designers for this year’s home tour are Fun Finds and Designs-Home Decor Consignments, Linden and Designing Women.
“Some of Woodstock’s best-loved designers will be imprinting their unique style on each private residence, said Danielle Dron, Junior Service League communications co-chair in a release. “Visitors will be able to get numerous decorating ideas to make their homes more festive for the holiday season.
The tour may be started at any of the homes and spread out over both days, she said.
The tour is Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 12 to 5 p.m.
Tickets are $20 and are available for purchase online at jslwoodstock.org or at Towne Lake BP, Linden, Alessandros Italian Cafe and Pizzeria, Christine’s Creations, Fun Finds Designs and Collective Co-op.
