James Thomas “Tommy” Lindsey, 85 of Ball Ground, GA passed away Sunday November 25, 2012 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 27, from Chalcedonia Baptist Church with Rev. Monroe Gunter, Rev. Troy Milford & Rev. James McGaha officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Lindsey will lie in state at the church on Tuesday from 1:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6-9 p.m. and Monday from 12-9 p.m. Survivors include wife, Patsy Lindsey, Ball Ground, GA; son & daughter-in-law, Mickey & Jeannie Lindsey, Ball Ground, GA; daughter & son-in-law, Teresa & Keith Fortner, Ball Ground, GA; brother, Claude Lindsey, Peachtree City, GA; sister, Rachel Jordan, Tate, GA; 2 grandchildren, John Lindsey, Ball Ground, GA; Lindsey Fortner, Ball Ground, GA.
