The death is described by the department as “suspicious.”
The deceased is a Hispanic man, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing approximately 150 to 160 pounds. The man has black hair and brown eyes, with no tattoos or scars. He was found without identification, according to police officials.
He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a gray button-down shirt, a gray and black Aeropostale-brand fleece jacket, black Sperry Topsider shoes, black socks and gray boxers, according to a release from the Canton Police Department.
As of Tuesday afternoon, Officer Pacer Cordry said the department did not have the man’s cause of death.
The man was found around 9:30 a.m. Sunday by a bow hunter tracking a deer in a wooded area behind the Cumming Highway shopping center, Cordry said.
Anyone with information on the man’s identity is asked to call 911 or call the Canton Police Department at (770) 720-4883.
