Effie Bell Cowart, age 96, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012 at Embracing Hospice in Cumming. The Funeral Service for Ms. Cowart will be Wednesday, December 26, 2012 here in the Chapel of Darby Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Gerral Richards and Rev. John Lummus officiating. Interment will follow in Cherokee Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends Monday, December 24, 2012 at Darby Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. The survivors are brothers, Grady Lee Hester of Kennesaw and C. Jack Hester of Cumming; sisters, Ruby Milford of Ball Ground and Edith Cochran of Cumming, several nieces and nephews also survive.
