Mr. Carmel Cecil Hall, 92, of Canton, passed away on Friday, January 25, 2013 at Woodstock Nursing Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:30 pm Sunday, January 27, 2012 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Larry Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in Cherokee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12 pm until 10 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Hall served in the U. S. Army and was a World War II Veteran. He was a member of Bethel Tabernacle and a Sheet Metal Worker. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Hall; grandson, Matthew Hall and great-grandson, Darius Scott; survivors include his children, Brenda Norred of Lynnhaven, FL, Carmen Lockett of Knoxville, TN, Dawn Johnson, Dennis Hall and Johnny Hall all of Canton; brothers, John Hall of Norman, OK and Carlos Hall of Mt. Vernon, WA; 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Sosebee Funeral Home, Canton, GA, is honored to serve the family.
