Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office detectives are looking for an Acworth woman who has been missing since Tuesday morning. Joan McDowell, 84, was last seen when she left her doctor’s office on Stone Bridge Parkway in Woodstock at approximately 9 a.m. McDowell is believed to have left the doctor’s office driving her 2008 Lincoln Town Car with Georga tag PNF4402. She is approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall and 130 lbs. with short gray hair and wears glasses. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a pink shirt. Anyone that sees or has any information about McDowell is urged to call 911.
