RAMPLEY, Alfred P.
Mr. Alfred P. Rampley, 70, of Canton passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. Funeral services are scheduled for 3 pm on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Travis Childers and Rev. Randy Cloer officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5 pm until 10 pm and Friday from 10 am until 10 pm at the funeral home. He is preceded in death by his sister, Elsie Lee Hancock and brother, Ervin Rampley. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Joan Rampley of Canton; children, Donnie (Donna) Rampley of Canton, Wendall (Linda) Rampley of Nelson and Tina Rampley of Canton; siblings, Wydemer Lomax of Canton and Boots Mahan of Calhoun; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
