WALESKA — Reinhardt University announced ticket pricing for its inaugural football season, and it may provide some the best value around.

Reinhardt, which will host five games this fall, set season ticket prices at $50 for general admission or $75 for a limited number of chair-back reserved seats. The price comes out to $10-$15 per game.

Individual game tickets prices will be slightly higher — $20 for reserved and $15 for general admission. Children ages 12 and under are free with the purchase of an adult ticket.

Reinhardt students, faculty and staff will receive free admission with an EagleCard. Students who wish to purchase additional tickets will be able to do so at the regular ticket price.

Reinhardt athletic director Bill Popp feels the tickets are a good value for the consumer.

“We feel that we have the best college football value around,” he said in a release from the university. “We are not requiring any donations to an alumni group or booster program in order to by season tickets. A family of two adults and two children 12 and under can come to a college football game for $20. You won’t find a better price than that anywhere around here.”

In comparison, most high schools in the county charge $7 for adults and $5 for children to attend a game — making the total price for a family of four $24.

After beginning the season Aug. 31 at Mercer, Reinhardt will open its home schedule Sept. 7 against Lindsey Wilson College. The Eagles will host Bethel University on Sept. 27, Belhaven University on Oct. 19 and the University of the Cumberlands on Oct. 26 before concluding their home schedule Nov. 9 with Cumberland University.

Game times have not been announced, but coach Danny Cronic favors a kickoff as early as 11 a.m.
