The HOPE Center in Woodstock recently recognized several volunteers with awards.

Pam Coronado was presented with the Mother of Israel Award for serving those who came to the center for help. Coronado, a married mother of three, has donated time to the center every Monday since the fall of 2008. She served more than 162 hours last year, the center said in a news release.

The Star Team Award was given to Judy Dietz, Pat Kos and Martha Montgomery. Their team served a combined total of 446 hours in 2012, a spokesperson for the center said.

Maria Walasik received the Extra Mile Award. She works in the center’s Baby & More Store, greeting clients. “Maria served over 613 hours last year alone,” the center said in a news release.

The awards were given at the annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon conducted by Piedmont Church in Marietta.

The Hope Center provides help to individuals facing pregnancy or relationship issues. It is at 295 Molly Lane in Woodstock. For information call (770) 924-0864.
