Kathy England, age 57 of Woodstock, Ga, passed away July 23, 2013, after winning her battle with Breast Cancer. Kathy was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, who loved her family dearly. An Early Childhood Educator from the University of Florida, she taught kindergarten for over 8 years. She also was an agent for Solid Source Realty and an avid Bible Study teacher involved in multiple local ministries. Kathy was a member of North Point Community Church and a speaker for Stone Croft Ministry. With two recent grandchildren, her favorite pastime of “Working in the Garden” had taken a back seat. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, David England, daughter Ansley Powers (Eric), son Ryan (Sally), grandchildren Thomas and Kathryn, her mother Billie Boyd, sister Kaye Alesevich (Nick), brother Thomas Boyd (Janice), mother-in-law Barbara England, sister-in-law Tracy Backus (John), and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Celebration of Kathy’s life, “Have I Told You I Loved You Today?”, will be held Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Roswell United Methodist Church. The family will be receiving friends at the church from 1 until 2 pm prior to service.
