The Holly Springs Downtown Development Authority is preparing to conduct a free outdoor movie showing at the Adcock Pest Control-Scorpion Baseball Academy Field on Sept. 7.

Jennifer Stanley, spokesperson for the city, said the authority will play the 1989 classic “Field of Dreams” at the baseball field at 2547 Holly Springs Parkway.

“There will be concessions at the event for purchase,” Stanley said. “Bring a chair or a blanket and settle in for an evening of fun.”

The film will begin at dusk. For more information on the event, contact Stanley at (770) 721-7506 or jstanley@hollyspringsga.us.
