KENNESAW — Police have arrested a 22-year-old man accused of giving alcohol to an underage woman who was struck and killed by a car while she was walking along Cobb Parkway in Kennesaw early Thursday morning.

Jacob Tillman of Kennesaw was arrested Thursday at a hotel in Kennesaw, and remains in custody on three counts of furnishing alcohol to people under the legal drinking age of 21.

20-year-old Hannah Straton was hit by a car and killed while walking along the parkway toward a local convenience store.

Kennesaw Police spokesman Scott Luther said Tillman could also be facing charges related to Straton’s death. Kennesaw is working with Cobb County Police Department’s traffic unit in the investigation of Straton’s death.
