The Creekview girls stifled Kell in the first quarter, then carried that lead through the remainder of the game to win 57-34 on Tuesday and claim the third seed out of Region 7AAAAA.

Creekview (22-6) led 17-5 at the end of the first quarter and 29-14 at the half. Kell (12-16) had its biggest quarter in the third period, but the Lady Grizzlies matched them.

Dee Blankenship led Creekview with 16 points, while Allison Luly scored 13. A total of eight Creekview players scored, as coach Roger Nolan made use of his entire bench.

Santavia Grant and Onyx Henderson each scored 10 points for Kell. The Lady Longhorns struggled at the free-throw line throughout the game and finished 10-for-28 as a team.
