WOODSTOCK — Bestselling author Tim Dorsey will be at FoxTale Book Shoppe on Tuesday with his most recent novel, “Tiger Shrimp Tango.”

A former police officer and journalist, Dorsey is the author of 17 novels, all hailed for being quirky, suspenseful and great fun.

With titles such as “Florida Roadkill,” “Hammerhead Ranch Motel,” “Orange Crush,” and “Triggerfish Twist” the author has developed quite a following.

Tuesday night’s book signing is Dorsey’s second visit to FoxTale Book Shoppe.

“We’re delighted to have him back,” owners Karen Schwettman, Jackie Tanase and Ellen Ward said in a release.

In the book, determined to save a damsel in distress, the Sunshine State’s favorite serial killer and encyclopedia of Florida lore, Serge Storms, dances a tango of death and mayhem in the funny and dementedly entertaining crime caper.

“We’ll have plenty of Tim’s earlier titles for sale at FoxTale in addition to ‘Tiger Shrimp Tango,” Ward said.

The free event is at 6 p.m. Dorsey will sign all books purchased at FoxTale.
