The Appalachian Chapter of International Association of Administrative Professionals gives a scholarship each year to a high school senior that will be entering the business field. The chapter accepts applications from schools in Pickens, Cherokee, Dawson and Gilmer counties.

The application can be obtained from school counselors or on the organization’s website at www.iaap-appalachian.org under the Meetings & Events tab.

The completed application must be received by March 14. A letter of recommendation from a teacher in the business department must accompany the application.

The completed application and recommendation letter should be sent to Appalachian Chapter IAAP, ATTN: Debbie Parks, Scholarship Chair, 544 Hwy 515 South, Jasper, GA 30143.

For information call (706) 253-5271 or email debbiep@amicalolaemc.com.

The winner of the scholarship will be announced at the Administrative Professionals Day Luncheon hosted by the Appalachian Chapter IAAP in April.
