DEAR EDITOR:

Front page headline — Cherokee Tribune (4-2-14) — “Petruzielo, aide facing ethics law complaints.” The citizen’s complaint was received by the Georgia Government Transparency and Campaign Finance Commission (renamed ethics commission). I read the article carefully, trying to see what evil deed these two were accused of by the complainant. We all know after years of “nothingness” from this state commission, with many different names through the years, this entire procedure will be a big waste of time, costing us taxpayers many more dollars than this ridiculous small minded complaint. Our school superintendent and school spokeswoman both have real jobs with real agendas to be concerned about. I don’t know the gentleman who went to all this trouble over this nothingness, but I suspect he is bored and does not have enough real things to do. I’m more worried about guys like this wasting my tax dollars than our excellent school superintendent and accomplished school spokeswoman.
