After rain washed out racing at Dixie Speedway last weekend, fans will have some extra excitement tonight, with two championship races.

The regularly scheduled Crate Late Model championship, which carries a $1,000 prize, will be held with the Pony Stock championship, which was planned for Aug. 9.

There will be a full race program as well.

Dixie will also celebrate family appreciation night with bike races for children. The winner of each race, which consists of a lap around the track, will receive a trophy and a new bike.

Grandstand admission is $12 for adults, $6 for ages 9-17 and free for children 8 and under. Tickets from the Aug. 9 rainout will be honored at the gate tonight.
