The Paleo Mom, also known as Dr. Sarah Ballantyne, will launch her second book at FoxTale Book Shoppe in Woodstock on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. The official launch party will be catered, with all things Paleo-related, and will kick off “The Paleo Approach Cookbook.”

“We’re thrilled to bring Dr. Ballantyne with her new cookbook to Woodstock and the entire metro Atlanta area. Sarah’s cookbook will show you tips and give suggestions, recipes and tricks on how to go Paleo,” said FoxTale co-owner Ellen Ward.

The new offering is the companion cookbook to “The Paleo Approach,” Ballantyne’s first book, and walks the reader through which foods calm the immune system, reduce inflammation, and help the body heal itself. There’s no need to worry that “going Paleo” will break the bank or require too much time in the kitchen preparing special foods with the book.

In “The Paleo Approach Cookbook,” Ballantyne provides expert tips on how to make the switch easily and economically. She explains how to stay within the food budget, how to make the best use of time in the kitchen, and where to shop for what is needed.

Complete food lists, shopping guides, and meal plans take the guesswork out of eating to maximize healing. Armed with more than 150 delicious recipes, from breakfast staples to decadent desserts, you can love every bite.

Ballantyne walks cooks of all levels through essential kitchen techniques, from chopping vegetables to using a pressure cooker safely. The book includes more than 150 recipes.

The book launch is a free event. In addition to the new “The Paleo Approach Cookbook,” FoxTale will have “The Paleo Approach” for sale at the event. Those who already own “The Paleo Approach” can bring it to the signing event; however, the only cookbooks that will be signed must be purchased at or before the event from FoxTale.
