Mrs. Louise R. Holbrooks, age 74, of Canton, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2010 at her residence. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 2010 at Antioch Christian Church with Pastor Ken May and Pastor Adam Scott officiating. Graveside services will be 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Yonah Memorial Gardens in Demorest, GA. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Holbrooks was a member of Antioch Christian Church. She was an officer for the National Association of Letter Carriers in both the state and national levels. Louise enjoyed camping, fishing and sewing. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Ralph A. Holbrooks of Canton; children, Christie Jarocha Holbrooks of Canton and Ronald Jasper Jordan of Lawrenceville; sisters and brothers, Gene Roberts of Austell, twin sister, Virginia Elouise Brewster of Gainesville, Nell Causey of Commerce, Frankie Sikes of Statham, Sadie Cruse of Jefferson, Frances Fields of Commerce, Edward Roberts of Crawford, Dennis Roberts of Jefferson and Michael Roberts of Jasper; grandchildren, Holly Rebecca Banks and Daniel Gregory Jordan; great-grandchildren, Kaytlynn Jordyn Banks and Matthew Banks.
