Martha Satterfield Blackwell, age 66, of Ball Ground, died Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at Piedmont Healthcare. She was a homemaker and a member of Sharp Mountain Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 1, 2010, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. James Rich and Rev. Ernest Hughes officiating. Interment will follow in Sharp Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery. Survivors include sons, Steve (Kim) Blackwell, Canton, Scott (Bridget) Blackwell, Ball Ground; brothers, Neal Satterfield, Woodstock, Michael Satterfield and Wayne Satterfield, Waleska; sister, Linda Brown, Ellijay; grandson, Levi Blackwell, Ball Ground; several nieces and nephews also survive.
